Painted in the technique of Pleinair, this piece was created completely on location over the course of one or many days.

Painted durring summertime in Baja, this is painting is impresiosim nature related work smashed up into abstraction. Even the idea of something abstract is…studpid and strange, imagining whats not there based on what we know is here is tricky. I choose flowers for this study, one becuase I love flowers, but secondly the shapes patterns and movement found in flowers is inherantly abstract. shapes stacked on shapes, lighting filtering through at all sides, creates up close creates abstraction.

On the backside was a very early on study in the vein of flowers obveously. I recall being frustrated with the piece, they where more like studies then actual pieces, but failed in their own way, but succesful that it lead me where I ended up.
